Agents, Thank you for patiently standing by since Google+ was sunset back in April. As we shared at that time, we’ve been working to launch our own Ingress community. The goal of this new home for Ingress is to provide you with a centralized place for official announcements, to ask questions, celebrate your exciting Ingress adventures, and interact with one another. We’re excited to let you know that an early version of this community will be launching later this week! We’ll be sharing more details closer to the actual launch. We intend for this community to serve as a central place for Agents to connect and discuss various aspects of Ingress, including OPR and Portal Appeals. We can’t wait to provide you with access to it to strengthen what makes Ingress so unique -- the community. With that said, please understand that our long term version for this community tool will take some time to meet our objectives of a feature-rich platform. With this in mind, we’ve decided to launch this early version because we want to build this community with you. We’ll be gathering your feedback, implementing changes, and polishing the experience as we go. Once the community becomes available later this week, you’ll be able to log in using the same authentication method you use to log into Ingress. Your in-game name and game info will transfer automatically. Don’t fret, you won’t need to rush in to reserve your name! We look forward to seeing you there!
